Mercy Endeavors’annual Jazzin’ on Jackson fundraiser began in 2013. The name reflects Mercy Endeavors seniors’ appreciation of the jazz music genre and uplifted spirits. Proceeds benefit services to be received at a new center on Jackson Avenue to accommodate the growing number of seniors in the Irish Channel and Lower Garden District. In 2009, the Jamie Coleman family donated a parcel of land on Jackson Avenue to Mercy Endeavors. Since that time, four blighted buildings have been cleared and development is underway for the new and improved center to open July 2016. This generosity and that received by others will deeply impact the legacies of our seniors and community.

Thank you to our supporters! Let’s Jazz’ on Jackson!
